Die Blätter eines Japanischen Schneeballs Viburnum plicatum versah ich von Mai bis Oktober 2019 mit nummerierten Klebetiketten. Ich zählte bis 21.634 als im November die Blätter fielen. Dann sammelte ich sie auf und archivierte die Blätter in numerischer Reihenfolge in 21 Objektkästen. Da ich nicht jedes Blatt wiederfand, entstand eine vom Zufall bestimmte, lückenhafte Dokumentation einer Vegetationsperiode des Busches. Die Arbeit entstand im Garten der Zentrale des Deutschen Wetterdienstes in Offenbach und wird dort im Foyer 2021 ausgestellt.

From May to October 2019 I counted the leaves of a small bush Viburnum plicatum. I had put 21.634 numbered stickers on the green leaves when autumn came and they started to fall. I collected the leaves and organized them in numerical order. Of course I didn't manage to find all of them, so the collection is incomplete due to chance. The work was realized in the garden of the Deutscher Wetterdienst headquarter in Offenbach and will be shown there in 2021.
